Om Shanti Om Yoga Ashram provides training cultivating a new basic rules & guideline. We provide a safe space for personal development and the pursuit of spiritual ideals. People come from many walks of life, background, and from every corner of the world to experience the profound spirituality of ancient India, and the centuries-old disciplines of Yoga. Maintaining a positive spiritual atmosphere requires the involvement and participation of all students. In this regard we request your cooperation in observing the following rules and guidelines.
Men and women must cover shoulders, midriff and legs. Tight fitting, transparent and revealing clothing are NOT permitted. This includes:
The School provides all students an appropriate dress to be worn during these 25 days stay with an additional price.
Guests’ behavior and dress code should be respectful of the local Indian culture to enhance the spiritual atmosphere. Observance of the dress code should be maintained at all times including during asana classes, lecture classes, indoor or outdoor activities (under school organizer guidance).
To respect the local culture and the yoga tradition, kindly restrain expressions of affection such as hugging or kissing in ashram compound, temples and public. Guests at our school are advised to observe celibacy (brahmacharya) as part of the spiritual discipline.
Attendance, at all School activities is mandatory as part of the Yoga school’s programmed. As a mark of respect for the teacher and as a practice of self-discipline, guests are required to be on time and to remain for the duration of each class.
Sunday is a free day in our School. Guests are required to attend some class if instructed. Sightseeing and tours are on your own. Meals run as usual (when required).
Guests are requested to observe silence during meals, before morning Satsang/Prayers and after evening Satsang, during lecture classes. Lights out at 9.00pm ( in your respective accommodation).
We do not accept responsibility for guests’ personal belongings.
Duration of stay 25 days and night at our Ashrams is required during the training in order to complete the course and receiving certification.
Full payment of the course is made on arrival and it is non-refundable or non-transferable in the event of early departure.
