Our Yoga School:Terms & Conditions

line

Our school sits at the heart of India's spiritual tradition, drawing students from all over the world who come to experience yoga and ancient Indian teachings in an authentic, peaceful setting. To keep that atmosphere alive for everyone, we ask all students to follow a few simple guidelines during their stay.

What's Not Allowed

Smoking, alcohol, drugs, meat, fish, and eggs are not permitted on the premises. Mobile phones may only be used outside of class hours, in designated areas — never in the dining hall. Photos, videos, or audio recordings during classes or ceremonies require the director's permission first. Respecting the Culture
Out of respect for local customs and the yoga tradition, we ask couples to avoid public displays of affection (hugging, kissing) within the ashram, temples, and other public spaces. Students are encouraged to practice brahmacharya (celibacy) as part of the spiritual discipline during their time here.

Attendance

All scheduled classes and activities are mandatory. Punctuality is part of the discipline we practice here, so please arrive on time and stay for the full session out of respect for your teachers.

Free Day

Sundays are free. You're welcome to explore and sightsee on your own, though you may occasionally be asked to attend a class. Meals continue as usual.

Quiet Hours

We ask for silence during meals, before morning prayers, after evening prayers, and throughout lecture classes. Lights out is at 9:00 PM in your accommodation.

Your Belongings

The ashram cannot take responsibility for personal items, so please keep valuables secure.

Length of Stay

To complete the course and receive your certification, you must stay for the full 25 days and nights at the ashram.

Payments

Course fees are paid in full on arrival and are non-refundable and non-transferable if you leave early.

Dress Code

Please dress modestly, keeping shoulders, midriff, and legs covered. We ask you to avoid:

  • Shorts above the knee
  • Sheer or transparent tops
  • Low-cut or sleeveless shirts
  • Tank tops

We provide a suitable outfit for your stay (available at an additional cost) if you need one.
This dress code applies at all times — in asana practice, lectures, and any indoor or outdoor activity — as a sign of respect for local culture and the spiritual setting.

Course Rules

  • Pay your full course fee when you register, upon arrival, by cash or PayPal (taxes included).
  • Please follow the school's rules throughout your stay.
  • Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. If you can't finish the course, you're welcome to carry your enrollment forward to a future session instead.
