This 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training course will see you through the complete first half of the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program.
This 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training course will ensure you are taken through all of the asanas from the Hatha style of yoga, leading towards some Ashtanga vinyasa. It will give you a holistic style of exercise, different from that of conventional forms of exercise, creating awareness, concentration, relaxation, and peace within.

This will build you a firm foundation of understanding and knowledge including, mainly:

100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India | 14 Days Curriculum

yoga in india Yoga Asana: Asanas are yoga postures and the physical movements of yoga practice and, in combination with pranayama or breathing techniques constitute the style of yoga referred to as Hatha yoga. Traditionally asanas are positions, which make us fit and healthy in all the way. In the yoga sutra, Patanjali describes asana as a "firm, comfortable posture", referring specifically to the seated posture, most basic of all the asanas. Normally asanas will be held for an average of two or three minutes. Besides being held steadily they should also be held comfortably. No pain should be experienced while holding the posture or in the hours or days that follow. Hindu Shastras tell us of 84 lakhs asanas. A lakh being equal to 100,000, this brings the number of yoga postures to 8,400,000.

100 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course in India - Daily Schedule

Yoga Teacher Training Course schedule is designed in very balanced way and comprehensive way that it keeps the student in contemplation of the subject throughout the day and also some the personal time. The schedule is the best integration of theory and practice of yoga. It also allows the student to stay energetic for all the classes. The daily schedule of the course as follows:

Schedule 5:30 AM To 12:30 PM

Early to bed and early to rise, keep your body and mind healthy and wise as well as cultivating yogic discipline. Wake up early, with taking shower and morning ginger lemon tea is served to provide energy for the day!

Beginning the day with Mantra Chanting by surrendering to God the first thing we have to do. Chanting Mantra for spiritual awakening and calming the mind towards creating positivity for the rest of the day. Each day, waking up is already a gift!

The word "Prana" stands for life force and this is believed to be the vital energy that enliven the body. This also serves as the link between the physical observance and the mind. ... Once the breath is still, your mind faculty is shut down.

The most important practical class, begins with warming up, performing asanas sequence and finally relaxation and shavasana, finishing with chanting Mantra. Students feeling rejuvenated in the end of the class after 90 mins of practice. You will have the explanations of each posture and learn how to assist, how to teach postures, and why postures are important

Enjoy the morning and a delicious breakfast lightweight with daily fruits, cereals, breads, herbal tea and Indian breakfast as well

Yoga Philosophy is an important part to begin the yoga training, knowing the purpose Yoga Training Course, about self understanding, about suffering in life, about culture, Yoga Sutra and most of all discipline of life.

Yoga Anatomy is one of important subject to learn about the function of the body, to understand our body and how to utilize it in right way. The subject begins with Digestive System to know what we eat to survive, the Respiratory system to expand our pranic level and Muscular System to perform the asanas with benefits. During the third week, Ayurveda class by Dr Ayurveda, learning about the types of body(doshas), the characteristic, diet, cleansing, daily routine, fasting and finally how to correct our problems in body naturally. Ayurveda says prevention from disease is better than cure.

Enjoy the delicious yogic food from our kitchen, Indian Vegetarian food, with rice, local vegetables, lentils, salads.

Students are guided on how to optimize and adjust the poses, as well as some variations for the difficult poses by the use of blocks, bolster, belts, supporting wall, sand bags in order you can find the benefit and improve the postures more effectively. In the Teaching Methodology, teachers will guide you on how to perform/ conduct an efficient class from the beginning to the end especially for those who interested to be a good Yoga Teacher.

The evening Yoga class, will be in a little flow Vinyasa comprising some advance postures gradually added by third or fourth week to make you more sweats, detoxify and refreshed.

The Meditation class by end of the day - helps to bring complete relaxation, after all day of classes. In every day and week different way of Meditation techniques are taught such as sitting, standing, dancing, sleeping – Silence, Candle, Osho dynamic, Yoga Nidra, Mantra Chanting and Chakra Meditation.

Dinner is served in Indian style mostly– chapatti, vegetables and yummy delicious soup of the day. In order to pamper our International students not to get bored with same cuisine, we are also serving Chinese cuisine - noodles, Western cuisine – pasta, macaroni, spaghetti or burgers.

Students may take a walk after dinner and however Ashram door will be closed by 9.00pm the latest – it’s the bedtime now – as early to bed helps early to rise.

100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training General Rules and Regulations

  • yoga in india Students are required to submit their passport original and passport size photo to Om Shanti Om Yoga Ashram for the FRRO process and Yoga Alliance US certificate application.
  • yoga in india The duration of the course is as referred to their course level such as 100 hours (14 days), 200 hours (25 days), 300 hours (33 days) or 500 hours (60 days).
  • yoga in india During the 3rd week of the course students will be assignment test and in the last week of the course, will be given written test as well as practical test.
  • yoga in india On the last day, a closing ceremony “Pooja” will be performed to Lord Ganesha and certificates will be forwarded to the students with Prasad.
  • yoga in india Students should attend all classes such Pranayama, Meditation, Ayurveda, Anatomy or Yoga Philosophy.
  • yoga in india Students should not commit in any other activities during the course.
  • yoga in india In case, any confusion related to the lesson in Hindu Mantra, Philosophy and culture, our knowledgeable and friendly teachers are willing to assist you.
  • yoga in india The TTC schedule will be given before the commencement of the training and 8 hours of learning session allocated per day for all subjects (except Sunday for body massages).
  • yoga in india Students should be punctual to the class and give full attendance without fail unless if such unavoidable cases occur.
  • yoga in india Students are only qualified to receive the Yoga Alliance US certificate if they complete the required hours of course successfully and pass in their test with satisfactory marks.
  • yoga in india Students should obey and follow the respective qualified teachers teaching and instruction for every subjects appointed by Om Shanti Om Yoga Ashram without any obligations.
  • yoga in india Students should not consume non-vegetarian food, alcohol and tobacco during the course and hang around till late nights. Students should back to room by 9.00pm.
  • yoga in india The total fees should be paid upon registration by filling up the application form upon arrival before the commencement of the course, by CASH or PayPal transfer (including tax).
  • yoga in india Students are advised to obey the Ashram rules and regulations throughout the stay in Ashram.
  • yoga in india All fees paid are not refundable or transferable in any situation that students wish to withdraw their course or quit. Alternatively they are allowed to carry forward their course to future session.
